With His musical instruments, Lord Shiva stands with Parvathi in the Anandha Tandavam (Dance of Bliss) pose. The temple has within its premise statues of the great Saivaite saints Appar, Sundarar, Sambandar and Manickavasagar. There are also statues of the three consorts Durga, Lakshmi and Saraswati.
