The day when Chathurthi thithi coincides with Tuesday is called Anagaraka (Mars) Chathurthi. Worship on these days is believed to cure diseases and also known to resolve marital disharmony. 
The Shodasha Ganapathy Temple at Tirumakkottai near Mannargudi is a temple where devotees pray on Angaraka Chathurthi.
