Located on the outskirts of the town of Chidambaram, a temple town in the interiors of tamil nadu, this Shakthi temple is known for its uniqueness. Lord Shiva cursed parvati and ordered her to reside outside the town limits, hence the temple is situated on the out skirts. Sri Ganesh, Sri Thillaiamman, Sri Thillaikali, Sri Muruga, Sri Durga, Sri Viranar, Sri Kanagavaishnavi are the deities that are offered homage here.
